ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will sell Wind River solutions, professional services and training to new and existing Wind River customers, prospects and partners within the aerospace and defense industry. Working closely with Field Application Engineers and collaborating with other functions to ensuring customers engage in collaborative & strategic, long-term partnerships, allowing them to unlock the full potential of Wind River solutions. Focus for the TAM is to actively ‘hunt’ within the territory and uncover new customers with whom Wind River has limited exposure today. 

Interface & Collaboration

Report to Head of Sales, Aerospace & Defense, EMEA

You will work alongside Field Application Engineers (FAE) and collaborate with other teams including Sales, Service, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, etc.

Responsibilities:                       

  • Explore new business in existing or new logo customers in the Nordic Region (primarily).
  • Meet with and listen to the needs of current and prospective customers to understand their current and future business and technical requirements.
  • Sell to mid-level and senior engineering decision makers.
  • Orchestrate technical product demonstrations and manage discovery calls/meetings.
  • Collaborate with team of colleagues across Wind River, supporting you to achieve your vision and revenue goals. 
  • Build and manage an accurate forecast to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
  • Review complex sales contracts and legal documents with customers.
  • Maintain customer and contact data in CRM system.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious salesperson to help evangelize Wind River solutions. Successful candidates are creative, curious about technology, energetic self-starters who understand, and have experience in managing technical sales cycles. We are seeking candidates that love learning about technical solutions and products in-depth, and who are passionate about communicating its value to Customers and prospects.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years technical sales experience in quota bearing, closing capacity.
  • Demonstrated success using a consultative, solutions sales approach and team selling environment.
  • Track record of success achieving or exceeding assigned sales goals.
  • Strong hunting and prospecting skills.
  • Professional work ethic and integrity.
  • Embedded software sales and cloud infrastructure experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Language. Swedish or other Nordic languages is a plus.
  • BS/BA Degree, MBA a plus
